Welcome to Roma Street

I certainly believe in the magic of those places that at some given point in our lives have wrapped us with warmth, kindness, love, and the sweetest memories, shaping us into the people we are today.  To me, the place of my fondest memories has been housed in "El Jirón Roma," the street where my beloved grandparents house is nested.

It is there that I find myself rooted at heart under the teachings of two amazing and selfless people, who lovingly raised a family during times of adversity.

Growing up, my experiences and childhood memories were surrounded by color, savory dishes, the bluest skies, the smell of the land in rainy days, the scent of wild flowers, my favorite red roses, and lots of laughter.  I always wondered what those walls would say if they could talk; my thoughts have always been inclined to think they would gracefully giggle.

Roma Street is a tribute to my grandparents, Rosa and Manuel, to their tireless sacrifice to raise a large, but unified family, to their determination to instill respect, values, faith, and the strong sense of hard work and integrity finding our own paths.

Bienvenidos al Jirón Roma!
